Doug Preston Bio

Personal Testimony

I was raised in a Christian home.  As a child, I attended the Bible Covenant Church in Greensburg.  I became a Christian at a young age. However, I drifted away from the Lord for many years. But God continued to woo me back.  I am so thankful for His faithfulness to me!

 I returned to the Lord in 1990 and have dedicated my life to Him since.  God called me to the ministry at a very young age, but I did not answer that call until 2004 when I began my ministerial training at Indiana Wesleyan University.  I was ordained by the Wesleyan Church in 2009.  

Prior to being called to LifeLine Wesleyan Church (formerly Greensburg Wesleyan Church), I pastored 2 years at New Hope Church of the Nazarene in Shelbyville, IN.   I have been the lead pastor at LifeLine since 2006.

I have been chair of the district's Church Multiplication Committee for 5 years and have been a member of the DBA for 3 years.

My wife, Sherri, is a retired educator and partners with me in ministry.  We have two daughters and five grandchildren, all of Greensburg.

Cindy Caniff Bio

Personal Testimony

I grew up on a dairy farm in southern Indiana where I learned how to work. My parents raised us in a Christian home, taught us how to love Jesus, and took us to church almost every time the doors were open…something I do not take for granted.
I attended God’s Bible School and College in Cincinnati, OH, and graduated with a BA in Church Music. I married Steve in 2006. He started pastoring the Salem Wesleyan Church in January 2006 and we have been there since.

I have worked as the Administrative Assistant for this great district since June of 2006. I love serving Jesus and our pastors through this job.

Ray Austin Bio

Personal Testimony

I grew up with both of my grandfathers being (Pilgrim Holiness) Wesleyan pastors.  My parents got saved when I was 12 years old.

Following a Youth Convention in St. Louis in 1974 I gave my life to the Lord.  15 months later God called me into ministry.

I graduated from Bible College in 1981 and began ministry.  My first church was South Central Wesleyan church in Terre Haute.

I was ordained in 1984.

I served as Director of the District Board of Ministerial Development for 6 years.  I also served on the Church Multiplication Board for 8 years.

My wife Pam is a Medical Technologist and works in hospital labs.  We have 3 grown sons and 9 grandchildren.
